I have an xpander for sale. It is mint in the original box including all the manuals, even the quick start guide, CE software, pc connection cable, ac adapter, and Pilot Program Quick Start Guide. It is in excellent working condition but the batteries are dead. Someone shared this information with me about this common xpander problem: All you need to do is to take out the two AA batteries and put them on any standard external charger for a couple of hours and reload them back to the Xpander and charge them with the original charger for 8 hours - from there on, you will be able to use the original charger to charge the Xpander! However, if you would to allow the battery to go flat totally, you would need to go thru this same process again. Finally, when removing and replacing the batteries back to the Xpander, you need to be extra carefull since there are spring on both end of the battery terminals, you would need two small screw drivers to "depress" the springs in order to load and unload the batteries. Please email for questions. Here are some photos of my other one that I sold @ auction (note, the one in the photos has a small stain on the quick start guide, this one does not): http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander01.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander02.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander03.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander04.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander05.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander06.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander07.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander08.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander09.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander10.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/seelye/.Pictures/xpander11.jpg Thanks, Jennifer
