Thanks Wayne. I had originally thought that the unit controlled the mirco-cassette drive directly in fast forward and rewind modes, and that there was probally additional commands for this control. That's why I was looking for a manual. Turns out the it operates the same was as a separate cassette recorder does - no special or additional tape commands than the normal ones. Did a test last night and it works fine - was able to write and read a program.
