I admit that I am biased, as my father worked as the test manager at the Sumlock factory in Portsmouth where these calculators were manufactured. As a boy I used to go to the factory and see them assembled and tested, along with the desktop calculators with the magical 'nixie' tubes. I used to have examples of all these calculators that my father brought home, but now I have to go back on ebay to replace all the ones I threw away!
