As fas as I know the only way an HP-41CV could have the clock/timer functions is if it had a clock/timer module plugged in. But you can do a CATALOG 6 and if you see a listing of all the functions it's a CV if you see a listing of User Key definitions (or CAT EMPTY) it's a CX.
