Hi. I have a 8010, and faced with the same problem simply cut a short piece of solid conductor wire, streched a thin strip of electrical tape around the circumference of 2 hearing aid cells, to prevent shorting when I taped the wire across the two thus making more or less the same arrangement as the original pack.This worked well, even though the cells are smaller, their height is the same,.I could have soldered them together, but I haven't bothered
