This may be a long shot but... I am searching for cheap modern day calculator chips/chipsets. These cheap (often solar) calculators seem to be driven by a single chip that recieves the input from the keys and produces the output at the LCD. Does anyone know where to buy these chips or is it all proprietary? I realize this is not exactly along the lines of this forum. My apologies. Any help would be appreciated.
