The Monroe 10 was a clone of the Canon Pocktronic that used 3 TI chips in 1971. The GI chip set from a little later was 4 chips and was used in a few of the Sanyo calculators (and probably others). I don't think GI makde a single chip design until 1973. They had several models I believe and were used a lots of calculators, Monroe probably sold a clone of one of them.
