I happened be be watching the old movie "Used Cars" (Kurt Russell, 1980) on the Speed channel a couple of days ago, and there are a couple of scenes in the office of the "bad guy" car dealer where a Wang 600-TP (Tape/Printer) calculator is shown. The movie is technically accurate in this regard, as many Wang 600 and 700-series machines were sold into automobile dealerships with software for preparing consumer loan documentation. The only thing that was wrong was that there appeared to be no Output Writer anywhere in the scene, which was an important part of the software that Wang sold for doing consumer auto loans.
