Thanks Bob. The problem seems to be around two press fit strip connectors that join the keyboard ass'y to the main board. There appears to be space between these for a shorter, third, strip connector but I can't find the connector.I don't know if it fell out or was never there and the points are only test points or something. I placed another strip connector in this place and it didn't help but it may not be a good enough fit since it's not the original. I wish I knew if a connector belongs there or not. Steve
